Europe Ecologie, as the Greens for a long time, has ideas on the economy... And, as you know, I have a little experience in the economy and finance. Therefore I was elected unanimously to the Presidency of this agency.

By what priority actions to the ARD will you translate your political concerns

It must first consolidate and reinforce the current ARD action that contributes to promote the attractiveness of the Ile-de-France and to support the installation of foreign companies in the region. The Agency, currently present in Shanghai and San Francisco, will in this sense, strengthen its device abroad. One or two settlements may be announced soon.

Is there too much of stakeholders to "sell" the Ile-de-France abroad

I am indeed concerned about excessive dispersion in this area: all the departments of the region, beginning with Paris, have their body for the promotion, but also the Chambers of commerce, the Medef Ile-de-France, etc. All this is clutter, especially from abroad. Therefore better order the representation of the Ile-de-France in association with the Afii, which retains a prominent role. We will try to encourage operators to better coordinate their interventions. In this sense, the presence in the Office of the Agency by Pierre Simon, President of the Chamber of commerce of Paris, and Christian Sautter, Deputy Mayor of Paris, will facilitate an order.

What will be the ARD's sustainable development objectives

Europe ecology was elected on a program to which the Socialist Party agreed, which is to encourage more compatible with sustainable development economic activities, that is more robust, less threatened by foreign competition and therefore by relocations, and less problematic from the point of view of the environment or health. The ARD has started to work on these topics. We will reinforce this policy. This goes beyond "green growth", it is not simply to orient industries whose future is uncertain to the manufacture of wind turbines for example, but to promote activities that, in General, stick with greener growth. For example, organic farming creates more jobs than intensive agriculture. We must also mention thermal renovation of the existing habitat, a very long-term project, potential generator of tens of thousands of jobs, reducing expenses for residents and helping to combat climate change.

How do you consider the project of the Grand Paris

I disagree with Christian white options for at least two reasons. The first is that they contribute to the agglomeration to the outside. But urbanization today must go into more compact configurations. There are intelligent, respectful of the environment and the quality of life, densification in our town. Second reason, the inadequacy of the mesh size of transport in the first Crown. The huge investments contemplated by Christian Blanc would be much better used to intensify the mesh of the surface transportation. Can develop the bus in own site very quickly, while the "great eight" of the Government is announced for 2025 or 2030... Moreover, I criticized Christian Blanc to be little interested in social and environmental. As Cécile Duflot, this is not a Grand Paris, it is a large underground. Personally, I think that this project will not happen.
